Following successful completion of this Boatsafe course, you can get your licence by taking the statement of competency into a Department of Transport and Main Roads customer service centre within 6 months along with a marine licence application form.

Brisbane Boating Courses offers boatsafe accredited boat licence and jetski licence courses, online boat and jetski licence courses,Coxswain Grade 3 (Exemption 38) and marine radio training.We are also offering the theory component of the boat and jetski licence online  

we operate 7 days a week at our training room at the Redcliffe Showgrounds, Scarborough Road, Redcliffe QLD, and service the following areas Brisbane north,Sandgate,North Lakes, Ipswich,Toowoomba,Bribie Island,Sunshine Coast conducting online assessments at Somerset, Atkinson and Borumba dams.

Please note:  you must hold a boat licence or sit the boat licence course before sitting the jetski licence course.

What To Bring

  • Online Certificate of Completion ONLY if you have completed your boat and jetski training online
  • Proof of Identity eg; Drivers Licence, Learners Permit, Qld 18+ card, Passport, Photographic ID or ID showing your signature
  • Hat, sunscreen, sunglasses, spray jacket, change of clothing (in the event of wet weather), suitable footwear, lunch / drinks.
